Carlos Alcaraz equals spectacular Rafael Nadal feat
Carlos Alcaraz matched a huge Nadal record when he reached the semi-finals of the ongoing US Open tournament,
becoming the first teenage tennis player to do so since Rafael Nadal did so in 2005.
Carlos Alcaraz also became the youngest tennis player to reach the final of any Grand Slam tournament since Rafa did it at the French Open (2005).
Carlos Alcaraz defeated American player Frances Tiafoe 6-7 (6), 6-3, 6-1, 6-7 (5), 6-3 in the semi-finals,
and he will face Norwegian tennis player Casper Rudd on Monday.
If Alcaraz wins the US Open, he would also become the youngest No. 1 tennis player in ATP history
and also the 1st teenage player to win a Grand Slam title since Nadal in 2005.
